Wendy is a strategic research professional with over 20 years of experience in marketing, communications and branding. She brings passion for understanding what drives people and organizations to the Potomac Core team and she has consistently been recognized for deep, actionable insights and impact on strategy. She has designed, directed and analyzed research for all kinds of
clients: associations, non-profits, corporations, foundations and government. Wendy has extensive experience conducting all forms of research projects, including in-depth interviews, ethnographies, focus groups, segmentation studies and surveys, as well as secondary “desk”
Wendy honed her skills at international communications agencies Young & Rubicam New York, where she was a Senior Vice President, Group Research Director, and Porter Novelli in Washington, D.C., as a Senior Research Counselor. In those positions she conducted research for organizations like the American Cancer Society, National Propane Gas Association and Accenture, and brands such as Johnson & Johnson, Kraft and AT&&T. More recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Research at Hattaway Communications, leading a team of professional researchers in a strategic communications firm specializing in research and message development.
Wendy is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Ohio State University, and has her M.A. in English from that institution.
